I'm Michael and I'm a Software Engineer at heart with a strong passion for building great products, high-performing teams and designing architecture that ties it all together. I work across both frontend and backend engineering, with a particular interest in infrastructure, cloud and emerging AI topics. I'm currently a Principal Engineer at Bitpanda where I am responsible for driving the solution architecture of business-critical systems across the customer lifecycle, with a primary focus on identity and access management, authentication and authorization, as well as regulatory compliance capabilities.
I'm happiest when I can get my hands dirty, build and create things – whether that means writing code, designing systems, or growing engineering teams. I enjoy bringing high-quality products to market and setting up companies for long-term success.
